The Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program (MASP) supports high-achieving traditionally underrepresented undergraduate students who want to be a part of a diverse academic community. MASP provides its students with a supportive community of students, faculty and staff; participation scholarships; academic research opportunities; and a dedicated space for community activities, study and seminars. Because of the support MASP provides, its students consistently perform better than their peers at CU and have a higher than average retention and graduation rate.

Hear what students have said about MASP:

“In MASP, I feel like I am in an environment where I am accepted. There is no judgment about my ethnicity or any other part of my background. Instead, it is a place where I have met some of my best friends that I hope to keep even after college.” – Zoe

“My favorite part about MASP is the community it provides me. I know that I will always have a network of support from my peers and the faculty. MASP has given me a place where I feel like I can fit in no matter what.” – Veronica

“MASP gives us a sense of community and it feels like one big family.” – Jubilee and Dayzy
